Hey friends! We rolled into August with bold colors, juicy bites, and serious flavor out in the fields. This month, we’re especially excited about our bell peppers, spicy jalapeños, and the ever-beautiful heirloom tomatoes—they’re sweet, tangy, and just begging to be part of your next salad or sandwich. And let’s not forget: it’s still peak watermelon season, and these beauties are as refreshing as summer gets. Perfect for slicing, snacking, or turning into a backyard BBQ showstopper. Whether you're here for the heat, the sweet, or a little bit of both—there’s something for everyone at the stand this month. Let’s take a look at what’s growing on! 🌱 |

It wouldn’t be summer without a slice of juicy watermelon— and this month, we’re highlighting the two refreshing varieties grown right here at the market! Charismatic (Seedless) – This variety is sweet, crisp, and super easy to enjoy— no seeds to slow you down! It’s the perfect hydrating snack for beach days, BBQs, or packing in lunchboxes. Sangria (Seeded) – Don’t let the seeds fool you — this pollinator variety is bursting with bold, old-school watermelon flavor. A great choice for those who love that classic summertime taste. Whether you’re chopping it into fruit salads, blending it into agua fresca, or eating it fresh off the rind, our watermelons are a must-have this August. Come grab one while they last! |

August Sourdough– Naturally fermented, small-batch sourdough made with organic ingredients. Loaves, muffins, banana bread— Saturday's 9am-5pm Morning Glory Coffee: Fuel your market stroll with a wide variety of specialty drinks: lattes, matcha, chai, and more— served hot or iced! Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 12pm New Hours start next week Tuesday 8/12 open 7am to 12pm Around the World Herbs– Growing fresh micro-greens, wheatgrass and herbs to freshen up any recipe! Wednesday & Thursday 9am-5pm Dali Manchies– Custom-designed caramel apples, rice krispies, cake pops, and chocolate-dipped pretzels. Ideal for baby showers, weddings, or just a well-deserved treat! -Saturday August 9th -Friday & Saturday 15th and 16th -Friday & Saturday 29th and 30th Animal Town Sanctuary and Farms– A 501(c)(3) senior husky sanctuary since 2012. They grow lavender on-site, wildflower arrangements and create handmade lavender goods, with all sales going directly to the care of their animals. Fridays & Saturdays 9am to 2pm Bear Tracks Bakehouse– From incredible sourdough loaves and fluffy focaccia to sweet treats and more, everything is baked fresh. Come early— your taste buds will thank you! Tuesday 9am to 5pm Aguilar Family Farms– Bursting with berries! Pick up strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and farm-fresh eggs. Farm-Fresh Salsa Fresca Make the most of our heirloom tomatoes and spicy peppers with this easy, vibrant salsa—perfect for chips, tacos, or topping grilled meats! Ingredients: 3–4 heirloom tomatoes, finely chopped 1–2 jalapeños or Anaheim peppers, seeded and minced (adjust for heat) 1/4 red onion, finely diced Juice of 1 pink lemon or regular lemon Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped Salt to taste Optional add-ins: 1 clove of dried garlic, crushed 1 diced bell pepper for extra crunch and color Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Let sit for at least 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed. Serve with chips, tacos, grilled veggies—or eat it straight from the spoon. It’s that good. 🌶🍅 |
