We’re excited to launch our monthly newsletter—a little something to keep you in the loop with what’s growing, what’s fresh, and what’s new here at Bautista Creek Ranches.

Each month, we’ll share what’s in season, where you can find us, ranch news (like harvest updates or bulk order options), and maybe a few photos from the field. Whether you're a longtime customer or a fellow produce lover, we’re glad to have you along for the ride.

May 2025 Lineup:

Oranges–

Blood: Dark red flesh, sweet with rich flavor

Cara Cara: Pink Flesh

Navel: Sweet Washington packed with flavor and juice!

Tangelos: Unique flavor, cross between a tangerine and orange

Have you seen our new signs? We'll be transitioning to a new location for our produce stand just down the road on Stetson and Soboba. 

We'll be keeping you all up to date when the time comes for these changes to take place but rest assured, we’ll still have the same fresh produce, family-run charm, and silly puns (sorry, not sorry). 😉

Produce of the Month: 

Skywalker Cauliflower

We’re harvesting some beautiful cauliflower right now—and it’s not your average grocery store kind.

White Cauliflower (Skywalker)

This variety is as crisp and clean as a Jedi’s lightsaber—hence the name! Skywalker cauliflower has tightly packed white heads, a mild, nutty flavor, and holds up beautifully whether you're roasting, steaming, or blending it into a creamy soup. Bonus: it's a low-carb swap for everything from mashed potatoes to pizza crust (if you're into that kind of thing).

Quick Tip: Don’t overcook! A light steam or roast helps keep all that color and crunch right where it belongs.

Newly Planted:

We've got a wide variety of peppers planted in the ground! From Sweet to mild and of course some hot jalapeños! Expect to see green, red, yellow bells. Along with a purple variety called Islander; it has a dark purple skin with a yellow flesh on the inside! 

Tomatoes are coming! We've got a big selection of Heirloom Beefsteaks and Romas on the way. Patience is a virtue!
